We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Collection Officer
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Make a high volume of outbound collection calls to individuals who are in arrears with various Creditors, which will include negotiating repayment plans, providing financial advice and payment instructions
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
- Send delinquency notices
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts within our Collection System
- Perform basic skip trace techniques to locate new or updated contact information for Consumers
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collection Department
- Meet monthly and daily department goals
- Adhere to Collection legislation
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Goal-oriented, energetic and self motivated
- Previous experience in telephone sales, call centre, etc
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in debt collection, an asset
Outsource Agent
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Make a high volume of calls to individuals notifying them of past due payments
- Provide customer service on collection issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts
- Provide excellent & considerate customer service to clients and debtors
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Outsourcing Department
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Goal oriented and committed to excellent customer service
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Experience with customer service
- Experience with accounts receivables, an asset
- French or Spanish, an asset
