Collectcents Inc., operating as Credit Bureau of Canada Collections (CBCC) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Collection Group of Canada (CGC), an innovative Toronto-based accounts receivable management (ARM) firm.


CGC’s diverse base of hundreds of clients across a variety of sectors, including commercial, telecommunications, consumer/retail, and utilities will continue operating under the CGC name. The CGC acquisition will increase CBCCs’ Canadian footprint to five call centres and will significantly expand their client base in the United States. The combined companies will employ approximately 500 people.

Vince Iandoli, CEO of CGC will join Collectcents’ Board of Directors in a key advisory role. The CGC management team, led by EVP Barton Miller, will continue with CBCC and will play a leadership role in helping operate and grow CGC’s existing ARM services.

On January 13, 2012, the management system at Credit Bureau of Canada Collection's New Westminister office was certified to ISO 9001:2008. On December 6th, 2011 Collectcents Inc. o/a Credit Bureau of Canada Collections announced that it has acquired Recovercorp Inc. (terms of the deal were not disclosed). 

Recovercorp Inc. is a nationally licensed collection agency that has been a fixture on the Canadian Business Profit 100 list of Canada's fastest growing businesses.   "There were many positives in this transaction.  The acquisition of RCI puts us in new markets both in Canada and the United States and the additional revenue will further enhance our profitability", said Jonathan R. On January 12th 2011, the management system at Credit Bureau of Canada Collection’s St. Catharines office was certified to ISO 9001:2008. Credit Bureau of Canada Collections is now certified in all sites to ISO 9001:2008 and is committed to continually improving our Quality Management System.


On December 31st 2009, the management system at Credit Bureau of Canada Collection's Mississauga and Montreal offices were certified to ISO 9001:2008
